How muchcare does someone need to put into

Their female dog who has had puppies...I guess I mean for the mother and her puppies? Never experienced it and just wondering cause well there are puppies in the house and it's not my dog that had them

Female dogs know what to do. Feed her well, take the puppies in for a wellness checkup. Make sure she has a warm place to sleep and care for her puppies. As they get older, they need to romp and play, and need space for that.
