So Smudge is finally to have her playmate.

I've thought this over for some time and I really can't deny her a little fluff ball of a kitten to play with and keep her company.
I understand she may not want to talk to me for a while, I'm demonstrating much affrontery.

Oh my, good luck! I'm in the process, and we are only 28 hours in, but I introduced a kitten to my home with my resident orange tabby.

He's been with another cat before. For the last year and a half it's just been him. I knew he was in his own sort of happiness, but I've abruptly ended that (for him to have a future friend).

He's growled and hissed more in one day than I can count him growling in 4 years.
