I need to entertain my somewhat lonely cat.

Her playmate left with my partner and I get the feeling she's lonely but also I know she'd lose her shit if a kitten/other cat were introduced to the household. It's a strange situation.
So, I need suggestions about games I can play with her. I'm all ears.

My cat's favorite thing is these foam balls about the size of ping pong balls... she'll chase them all day and loves to play fetch with them.

@dumpstermeow I've got a couple of plastic balls with bells inside, they keep her briefly amused.

@Cavedweller my cat needs toys she can pick up with her mouth. It has been a huge trial and error to find what she likes.

@dumpstermeow hopefully I'll find the right game or toy for her. She's really fond of catnip, and gets awfully playful when she's been rubbing in it.
