Many people have tried to find it but few have ever survived. My father is one of five people who have fought the creature and lived. Sixteen years ago my mother was feeding some mice when the enormous beast shook the ground and pulled her into the sand. My father rode his horse toward the worm and slung many arrows at its hide but it had burrowed it's head back and we have not seen it again. When I am older I must fight it to reclaim my mother's hair for burning its curse out of our blood.
