As a mixed-race girl who has been adopted by wonderful white parents I hate racism and discrimination but thankfully I haven't found too much of it

I have never understood and I probably never will, why people put more emphasis on a person’s skin colour than on their personality. How someone acts and treats me is much more important than what colour their skin is. Racism is nothing more than ignorance and egotism. The believe that one race is better than all others is ridiculous and racism should have no place in 21st century society.
