I Struggle With Self Harm

I cant believe this happened but it did..I cut myself to see if I would feel pain and it hurt like a M*****Fu****!!! So I vowed never again to do that

Its BS, used to do that stuff many years ago.
Self love is the answer, not self harm. Just gotta know what self love is outside of the cliche. ✌️

@SW-User It's a skill you develop. bare bones:

1. Pity and victimhood is toxic, it disempowers the person and we can't respect ourselves if we're in a victim/self pity mentality.
Never wallow and realise it's always a choice.
Don't compare yourself to the social masks of others.

2. Become dependable to yourself, teach yourself dicipline and develop an attitude that takes responsibility for everything about yourself.
Some things are hard to look at but it puts you in control.
Doesn't mean being hard on yourself (pity), means being real with yourself. You'll become someone you respect.

3. Actualise yourself, drop your vices (no drugs), exercise, read, become an individual among others, look out for you, don't hang around with people who don't respect you.

Main theme of all of it is responsibility. It's what set me free from years of depression. Best advice I can give anyone.

Carl Jung, Nietzsche, Jordon Peterson are good sources of inspiration when it comes to self empowerment and individuality. ✌️

@Ryannnnnn does not sound easy at all

@SW-User Becomes easier as you do it, you develop circuits in your brain and it'll become your go to behaviour.
Just do what you can bit by bit and you'll get there.

If I can do it you deffo can.

I'm glad you vowed that. To anyone else who considers trying it: Do NOT. I have a friend who tried, didn't like it, but couldn't stop for I've a year. Cutting can become like an addiction.
