I Am An Elvis Presley Fan

I was 1 year old we he did his '68 comeback special...I was 10 years old when he died. I remember watching his final concert on tv when at the end his father made the announcement that he had passed away, I remember the shock I felt at hearing that. I grew up listening to his music and watching his movies. He came to a nearby venue for a concert in '73 or '74 and a friend of my mother's got one of his scarves. He was scheduled to return in '77 and Mom was going to get tickets and take me to see him, but he died just before that was to happen. I think I'll always be an Elvis fan.
