I Lost Someone To Suicide

Not exactly a personal loss but I knew them. Nice family, three kids, with the older one being a high school senior. It was their son, he had turned 18, active in his school with sports and other activities and was a good student.

He became distraught over his girlfriend breaking up with him, so after his parents left for work, and his siblings went to school, he stayed back. He locked the doors, took a seat in a chair and put a pistol in his mouth.

It was a gruesome scene when his family came home and found what was left of him. The blood splatter and brain matter was scattered over the room

The family changed that day, I assume never to be the same again. The happy faces that once held smiles are a little sadder now. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
