I Believe That Fate Has a Plan For Each of Us

Fate leads you through this world. I just met an ex military Taxi driver who taught me possibly the most fundamental yoga ever. And that I should swim like a run-walk-run. I met him because I left when the world told me to slip out. Then get chips from Caspian, best chips around the area. At that moment his cab was waiting for me. Nice cab, too.

The yoga: lotus pose. Relax. Look down and breathe. Focus on the muscles so they don't move as you breathe. 10 times. Almost the antithesis of Yoga, but it's perfect, fundamental yoga. Linking the breath to not-motion.

From this antithesis came my own forward thought: I cannot run because I have weak knees and ankles is all wrong. That's firefighting logic. I cannot run because I do not, nor have not, run. The weak knees and ankles were not my birthright, I earned them through not exercising properly. Now I am working hard to earn something else.

Then, the swimming - to swim then break then swim more than swim 1 then break. Then swim the same as swim 1 then stop. Exercises each and every muscle in the body. Aligns them too.

What a fat chat we had. He even shook my hand, yet gave the American grip: powering over my hand. But my grip was firm because I meant it - though I subconsciously submitted, as soon as I looked down I realised. He's the first to ever do that grip on me since Pat from a medical physics software company I used to work with some 5 yrs ago. I remembered. Attila didn't want to do that to me he said I had a good shake. So we reshook and I pushed back. Evens. Friends.

See you soon, I trust. Hope gets us both everywhere and nowhere at once.
