I Am Interested In the Paranormal

I once heard a story about a hospital in the US where thousands of people had died from tuberculosis in late 19th century. They stuffed the bodies in the so-called Death Tunnel. I don't know the name of the place but it seems to be one of the most haunted places in the US. I hear people wanting to go there for the creepy vibe or to capture some ghosts on camera, but all I want is to help those poor souls trapped inside those walls. Sadly, I have no idea where to start- from paranormal investigators I've heard that the spirits there arent malevolent but miserable and sometimes confused, so I'm sure a peptalk wouldn't help them feel better...

From my understandings, ghosts are very rarely souls. I was taught by my late instructor to think of it like a footprint in the mud. The shoe was the soul, but it isn't there anymore. Water can enter the imprint left behind before it fades, and thus there will be something shaped like the person that moved on, but it wouldn't actually be that person.

Of course, whether this is true or not I am not entirely sure, but it does make quite a bit of sense to me.

As such, while you can act like they are the trapped souls of people and help them 'move on' (which wouldn't actually help them move on to anywhere, but I digress), that isn't the only way to deal with such things. It might not be a matter of just making them feel better, it might be better to try and be more forceful (though it is more dangerous to you if you try it this way).

Of course, I am merely a beginner, a novice, and have much more to read, so don't take what I say as gospel.

Well it's interesting nonetheless :) and I think sometimes ghosts are souls, but sometimes they're a different type of energy.

Yes, Bob is right it was Wavelry but I'd venture to say there are lots more like it where spirits are at unrest because of the way they were treated.😞It's not much better now since the mentally ill are often homeless and forgotten. There just aren't enough mental health care workers in the USA.
