I Am Interested In the Paranormal
I've been using the ouija board for a few years now and have never encountered anything exceptionally noteworthy until recently. I started using it with a newer friend of mine and we always end up talking to a spirit who calls himself Omry (sometimes spelled Omri). We've talked to Omry on the ouija board 7 or 8 times now and still have no idea who or what he is, he only ever talks about my friend who I use the ouija board with.
A few months ago my friend tried the ouija board by himself while I went to run an errand and he wasn't getting any feedback from the board but received a text from a random number. It said, "Why" which Omry often said on the ouija board. My friend texted back asking who it was and it sent another text a few minutes later saying, "Why?" When he tried calling the number there was a recording saying the number was out of service or didn't exist or something along those lines. When I got back I tried calling the number only to get the same recording so I texted it, "hi" to see if it would respond. A few minutes later I received a response saying, "He's so loud" which was another reference to something that has come up during our ouija sessions.
Since then my friend and I, plus another one of our friends who we had try the number, have received a few more texts (only after we would try using the ouija board).
The most notable text was sent to our other friend who texted the number asking who it was in which the number responded, "We are OMRY"
I've tried researching the number and from what I've found, it's coming from somewhere on the other side of the state I live in and seems to be a telemarketer/telecommunication type number.
I tried calling the number again last week just for the hell of it to see if anything changed and the recording was different, this time it said, "You have a trial account, you can remove this message at any time by upgrading to a full account, press any key to execute your code." When I press a key a different voice recording says, "Thanks for the call, configure your number's voice URL to change this message. Let us know if we can help you in any way during your development." Then hangs up. The first part of the recording sounds like a friendly guy's voice but the second recording is a very robotic, monotone women's voice recording. I had both of my friends who were in on the whole Omry situation try calling it again and they got these same recordings.
If anyone has any idea about how this number could be texting us or knows anything about a spirit called Omry, please let me know.
