is anybody else's toddler seemed to be drawn to mud puddles

its been raining like crazy here and every time i take my son outside he seems to want to do nothing but play in the mud. my husband says let him its fun. i told him only if he wants to do laundry lol

It's just part of exploring their world.
Concepts like dirt; wet; laundry etc don't enter their thinking.

Look on the bright side: mud is easier to clean than vomit, something he'll be doing less of as a result of playing in mud.
