who do people say that you look like? your mom your dad or grandparent or other

I'm a spitting image of my great great grandfather who was killed in WW1. Possible reincarnation. I look nothing like my mum or dad.

They either say "You look like your dad" or "You look like your mom but not really" either way, both of those answers devastate me
