Did you grow up with a big immediate family? Or have a large extended family?

I miss my childhood.
My parents only had 2 kids and I never got the sister I always wanted but I had the second best thing, lots and lots of cousins!!!!

Oldest of four
One of 13 cousins !
Sucked having to be the 'grown up one'.
But, birthday parties and Christmases when we were kids were awesome !

13 cousins! Fun!
I had 14 on my moms side and 10
On my dads side. My dad was big on family Christmas was always held at our house and both sides of the family would show up I loved it!

I don't have too many regrets in life. But not being within reach of my cousins is a biggy !

@Picklebobble: my moms family all lives in Milwaukee we don't really talk anymore
Of my dads nieces and nephews only 3 live within visiting distance the other don't talk to us.

@Tristemuneca: The 7 on my dad's side were all pretty close.
Right up until all our parents started divorcing.
The other 6 on my mothers side always seemed to be a bit aloof.
Mind you, their folks were Catholic and their dad a school principal !!
