My parents were not (and are not) bad people, it's how they were raised --> Exactly. Same with my parents.
But wouldn't it better if they teach us to speak our feeling or opinion in a good manner then teach us how to handle it ? Ah well.. they'd probably know it by now, and our childhood has passed anyway.
