i don't think so, no. i've never heard or seen anything that would point to that. in fact multiple people in my family have dated/married people of various ethnicities.

The good thing about my family is that if I marry a non white girl doesn't matter what race she is they are very accepting.

I think that would be racial prejudice, as white people don't face racism because of the systemic power balance. The definitions are complicated.

Anyway, yeah both my parents are racist.

I'm sure I do, yes. I have many 'blood' relatives that I barely know, or not at all. I wouldn't consider any of my now deceased nuclear family members to have been "racist", however.

My grandfather expressed some anti-Muslim opinions after 9/11, even put up a sign about Muslims being terrorists in front of his house.

My dad can be insensitive towards Muslims in his old age, but he never say anything in public.

Well perhaps that's been her experience.. There may be subtle differences .
