I was too. When they put me to sleep I was terrified I was never going to wake up...and this very kind and sweet Japanese anesthesiologist God bless his soul where ever he is right now, started petting me on my head and calming me down..as he prepared that needle lol. It's not as scary as it looks. Think about the magical moment when you see the baby and he/she looks at you for the first time 😪😫😫😫

@Pagan it's like falling in love in a very special way ( with baby) , so chase away thoughts that bring on fears and just be happy. Google the doctors before you go there, read the feed back and a book on what they are not supposed to do...like press on your stomach ( which they do kinda illegally to push the baby out... don't be afraid to say No if you don't like something) ..research the info, go in informed that will give you confidence and the best part will be that sweet baby. Believe in what your body is telling you when it happens.
Gas is a godsend
Midwives are awesome - they fix everything.
And modern medicine is amazing - ypu will wonder why you were so scared.
And - most important of all.... When you hold ypur child amd look into their eyes - ypu will, feel it was worth every bit of effort.
That feeling is jus...... earth shattering!

just bear in mind how many women have gone through this and come out with a bundle of joy. I'm sure it's quite scary but you'll be fine. Take the pain relief offered.
Best wishes to you and your baby.

Don’t be scared to ask for pain relief as first time is most difficult as body is not used to giving birth to something so large.
Pagan · 18-21, F
@QuietEd2019 Okay 💛

If you are screaming, you aren't breathing. Breathing is very important.

Push?
Pagan · 18-21, F
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Haha, I never thought of that 💛
OogieBoogie · F
Oh one thing - if you can avoid am epidural - DO!
Having an epidural does reduce the pain quote a bit - bit it also reduces your ability to push as hard.
So it can prolong tje birth.
Just an FYI.
