Is it true they banned parents smacking there kids now as disapline in Scotland

JT123 · M
Grounding and other punishments don't work on all kids. Some only learn from a good old fashioned spanking!

It is indeed

This is the first I've heard of it. I don't believe there is ever a justified reason to hit or slap a child.

@Lugubrious how else do you discipline a child that won't behave Never did me any harm Also schools can't discipline children anymore big mistake when children have more control than parents and teachers !!
Lugubrious · 31-35, M
@England66 My son is very well behaved, and he's never been spanked. He gets grounded, and we have discussions on what's acceptable and what isn't, and we also discuss why something is or isn't acceptable. This works just fine.

@Lugubrious then you could be a lucky family
with you living in America Where discipilne can way over the top with spankings and so on where aunt and uncles, baby sitters and so on can spank a child seriously America needs to look at it !!

Considering they're banning clapping in the UK because it's triggering, I really wouldn't be surprised.

The continued pussification of Western Civ.

When the kids get to school... they can tell their friends how edgy their parents as they are breaking the law 🤘
