What are actions your parents took to help make your transition to adulthood a little less difficult?

Shook the USMC recruiters hand

They made us all get jobs as soon as labor laws would allow. Before that, we had to pay "bills" with our allowances to learn how to budget. So my dad might hand us all $100 but by the end of it, we were only keeping like $5.

What a hilarious question!

My parents said, "Goodbye" when I turned 18.

None. It was extremely painful.

I am still living at home with my parents. I love the home cooking and my room and would be lonely living in an empty apartment all by myself. I am doing very well as a male stripper making a fortune every week at it. 馃樅
they got me working early. it was still a colossal bitch growing up

but it would have been colossally

worse.

I get to work for my father, they pay part of my bills, giving me a drivers license, and over all being patient with my existence.

@Nanori if you were any other person than Nanori I'd scold you right there, but I know you're always joking around like that.
