If you had no kids of your own. Would you put some money aside for your Niece and Nephews?

I don't have kids of my own, and I do have nieces and nephews. No, I don't put money aside for them, but I am very involved in their lives.

Yes I would. My husband and I are going to leave everything to my niece and nephew when we pass. We have no kids of our own.

I wouldn't set money aside specifically for them, but I would let them know that I would help them financially from my savings if they were in need. It's a model that my unmarried aunt uses, and it works for all of us.

Definitely. But I don’t now because I have my own family and they are very well off. But if I was single with no kids, I’d definitely send them something anyway.

I don't have that much leftover money once bills are paid and a minimum is set aside for emergency savings. I'm already postponing buying things I should have gotten a long time ago. It may be selfish of me, but the little I do have leftover I use to treat myself.

My sibling and the other parent of the one I'm uncle for are separated. As much as I love the kid, my sibling alone earns about double what I do so I honestly don't feel that bad about not setting aside money for the kid.
