So I have a question?

Yesterday was my birthday. I paid all my bills and all I asked for my birthday was for my mom to watch my kids for the weekend to get a break. My brother cash app me $20. I barely have money to give. Don’t forget it was my birthday. So my mom gets my sister here from out of town with no money to come from college for the holiday. I have a business that I run which I have a food cart. So the money I make I can’t quite touch just yet because I have to use it for things I need she has been asking for money since I started ... am I wrong for saying I don’t have it. I have it but I’m scared I might not get it back in time if I let her borrow it .? I’m mad because she is asking for money and it’s my birthday I’ve done my part as far as giving my birthday money that I barely even had ? What should I do? I’m so irritated right now people don’t look at the small things they look at what they need and want and forget about other people needs and wants

Hey! Relax. You've done more than enough. First that money you've got aside for business is not really yours yet, that it if you want to stay in business you've got to have cash flow and insurance of some kind. . Without it that contingency plan you could be moving back in eating from her refrigerator.
You are very wise. That's all you need to fret about.
3 most important rules of self employment,
1) get the money.
2) get the money. And most importantly number three
Get the money.

You are right, you can’t spend the money that you need for supplies. That would be like a farmer eating her seeds instead of planting them.

No. Dont give it to her.

@MrsCurious well, ask her what she needs the money for. Then you'll find your answer.

She’s being very inconsiderate right now I’m not sure what to do or how to feel she needs money to get her back to school

@MrsCurious she needs a way to.make.money of her own tbh.

If you don’t have it you don’t have it. You can’t give money away that ya need for the business

Sounds like a very risky move to lend her the money, especially when it has such a potential to impact you. I personally would probably not have given her the money.

I told her no if the $35 wasn’t enough then I don’t know what to tell her then @PirateMonkeyCabinet

@MrsCurious Always cover your own back first. You have a business and you have kids. While you may physically have that money, if the money is needed for the business or for your home or kids, then that isn't money you can afford to give away.
