What's your favourite story told by your parents, or grandparents?

Being Easter weekend, this one told to me by my Grandmother comes to mind.....The story of the dogwood tree. The dogwood tree used to be a mighty tree, it was the tree that made the cross of Jesus. After that event, God changed the dogwood into the smaller and more twisted tree we know today so that it could never be used for that purpose again.

I like listening to them recount their party days, lol.

My parents did not tell me stories. My grandfather did. He used to tell stories about a good friend he had in the military. How they would get into trouble together.
