Best way: 1) Let them know you need to discuss something important to you. Don't approach it lightly. 2) Pick a time when they're not leaving for work or anything else. 3) Turn off the TV. 4) If it's a problem that needs action, have some kind of plan worked out. (Jane's pregnant and doesn't want an abortion, so I'm going to be a father. I'm not going to quit school but I have applications in for nights & weekends so I can contribute support. We've talked about marriage but we're not ready yet. That's what I think, what do you think?)

It might be difficult, maybe very uncomfortable for you, but most parents are very understanding and will want you to be straight forward with them. Remember... unconditional love.👍🤗
