Has anyone here had a parent come back into their life and actually make things right?

Yeah my dad. He wasn’t necessarily absent in my life but he was extremely abusive and hostile for the first 18 years of my life. I think when my grandparents passed he had a moment of self actualization and decided to change...but still, I don’t think I’ll even forgive him even if I have a good relationship with him now.
