You didn't talk back to my father... Ever.

I did. Now they are gone and everything I did wrong I wish I could take back. Be good to your parents while you still have them. What they tell you is in your best interest. They tell you things because they want the best for you!

My sister did once and she flew across the room. If you slammed your door they took your door.
I was put in my place just if my voice happened to get more emotional when it was something we disagreed on but i felt strongly about. I think kids should be able to voice their opinion as long as its done with respect. They need to have the skills for handling conflict and confrontations. If kids are always agreeable they are open to being victimized.
