There may be perfectly legitimate reasons for disinheriting one's children, but most of the time, I get the impression it's because the parent is a controlling jerk.

@SweetMae I know of several disinherited kids that successfully sued estates to get their inheritances back because there was zero legitimacy for it.

Maybe it is a bit of both. That happened to me.
My mother is a selfish cunt, as soon as she croaks she is leaving everything to her church. She ignored my older siblings and myself, church came 1st. Any wonder why I am an Atheist?
