How was your experience of beeing bullied and bullying others? Did you teach your kids to not bully others and followed thru in their upbringing?

We all have either been bullied and or have bullied others in one shape of form specially elemtary and HS. Less in college/universities.

The schools are the building blocks of who we become in later lives. I am not sure why school do not allow and teach kids self defence so a bully can be stopped by full force so he or she never find the courage to do it again. Where parents are also equally responsible to ensure their kids are not turnning out to be bullies.

As parents it is our job to know and better understand our child, if we fail and our child bullies others, it is our failure and responsibilty that our child has not learnet the good values, he or she should be subjected to strict decipline and punishment.

Kids learn to tease and bully from an very early age. My child was bullied in just senior kindder garden when kids pulled down his cloths and threw him in the ground and laughed at him.

I am teaching them self defence and supporting to stop the bully and never take the crap from others.

I´ve never bullied or been bullied. We raised our son and daughter in the values of truth, sincerity, honesty, solidarity, respect. Empathy is the key word to treat others as we like to be.
Never knew a kid who played team sports to get bullied.. just saying...

+ they won’t grow up to be thin skinned fatties
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout not every kids plays team sports, beside being a thick or thin skin how do raise our kids not be a bully (prevention) is better approch. If my child bullied someone i would say a full and equal revange is completely justified. However, it is much better that i ensure my child is not doing so.
