@GLITTER Your ancestors wrote with the Magna Charta, the most important political document, and invented parliament. The glorious revolution, the bill of rights, accountable government - all part of English culture.
You had also the greatest writer ever and came up with the industrial revolution, which lifted billions of people out of poverty and raised the living standards of countless people far beyond their ancestors' imaginiation.
My mum is British, her mum was a Brit and her father she was told was American My father is South African So ima little bit of this and a little bit of that
My father was born in Lithuania but when he was born in Vilnius, it belonged to Poland. My mother is polish. I was born in Poland.

The most immediate is Russian. Given the stories I was told by my parents, I suspect if I was able to go back further, there would be Polish, Spanish, and Middle Eastern.

Pretty much entirely English, mainly from Staffordshire and Cheshire back to 1600s. There is one Welsh great great grandfather, and an unconfirmed dutchman in 1600s.
Until recently I was under the impression my descendants were mostly Irish/Scottish/German but I’ve discovered the majority of my ancestors to be Welsh.
On my Dads side it was originally French but religious persecution 300 years ago drove the family to settle in England. On my Mums side it's 100% Chinese🙂🎎🐼
