It seems be a group that gets bigger by the day. I have two grown children, who have never been any trouble at all and we never spanked them so they can hardly claim it's the ensure their kids are well behaved.

I don't know, but quite a few of us got our jollies from being disciplined as children. That certainly doesn't mean we'll get our jollies from disciplining our children, it usually means we seek that kind of discipline as an adult pleasure. I think you know what I mean.

Yes, apparently some adults experience a sexual thrill when they beat children, their own or others. Many years ago, around the time of the Rodney King beating (look it up on Wikipedia if you're too young to know about this), there was a lot of attention on the brutality of the Los Angeles Police Department. It came out that one of the sub-chiefs (I can't remember his name) had given a sermon at a church where he talked about beating children with oars until their skin welted, and how thrilling this was.
