If this is true, please talk to a trusted adult they will help you to get the help you need to get out of such an abusive environment. You do not have to accept abuse from anyone.

In my primary school, it was a common punishment: to be sent ti the corner of the classroom for staying there knelt, face to the wall, for 10-15 minutes. Or standing with the arms raised up.
