Wrap a bunch of empty boxes in pretty x-mas paper and when the kids misbehave...throw one in the fireplace

My partner and I actually put a heavy object inside a box, wrap it up and put it under the tree. That way, if the little man tries to peak at it, he won't see his gift. 😂😂
