Cuz like, idk. I mostly believe that my parents that i knew ( my afro-caribbean mom, and my american dad) are my parents but like.. Something feels off and i cant put my finger on it, i dont really look like either of them, i used to have curly dark blonde hair when i was a kid and my mom didnt have curly hair nor my father, i have no features of my dad or my mom, even though i am mixed it would make sense for me to atleast have something of my parents, right? and even though my aunts tell me i am just like my mother idk, my mother also used to joke around telling me i was adopted and then laughing when she was drunk ( she was an alcoholic and she unfortunately passed away around 1 year ago :T) so yeah idk, if you guys could give me signs or something that would help me ty
Sorry to hear about your mom.. and I think you should ask your current guardian, or search for paperwork on adoption tho children don't always turn out to look like their parents
@celine211 thats true that not all kids look like their parents but still. ppl always tend to mistaken my heritage for either mexican or moroccan, which i can pretty much see the possibilities in, even though morocco is also in Africa and my mom's family is probably of ghanaian descend so idk..
