I Won't Judge You

Instead of judging people we should try to understand what they are dealing with, but we also need to learn to communicate better with those we love the most.

"The man doesn't know that there is a snake underneath. The woman doesn't know that there is a stone pressing on the man.

The woman thinks: "I am going to fall! and I can't climb because the snake is going to bite me! Why can't the man use a little more strength and pull me up!"

The man thinks: "I am in so much pain! Yet I'm still pulling you as much as I can! why don't you try and climb a little harder?!"

The moral is: You can't see the pressure the other party is under, and the other party can't see pain you're in. This is life, no matter whether it's with work, family, feelings, friends, family, you should try to understand each other, learn to think differently, think of each other, and communicate better."

I love this Dia - and the accompanying picture.

Although your post is much more detailed, it reminds me of this one...

“Every man has his secret sorrows which the world knows not; and often times we call a man cold when he is only sad.” ― Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

@sciguy18 I love that quote and may have posted it previously. You and I often relate to the same ones, although your repertoire is much more extensive than mine.

The last time someone told me that I wouldn’t be judged I got blocked from them.
They forgot.

@diablesse The rare few are deluded because the same thing that broke the judged will break the judges.

@Pfuzylogic Maybe they are, or maybe they're the ones who have the right attitude.

@diablesse
The only judges I trust at that level are in Superior Courts where their calls can be appealed.

So true. I live my life choosing to give smiles to people versus expecting them to make me smile.
diablesse · 56-60, F
@BexEyes I found smiling at people will often elicit a smile in response and smiling usually makes us feel better.

This is such a good post, and a very important one. If more people were to practice this, it would be a very different world. Thanks so much for posting this.
