I Need to Vent

Found out today that I am not allowed to take any time off the week of Christmas even though we will be incredibly slow. I have family coming in from across the country and I'll only get to spend Christmas day with them if I am lucky. I know I should be grateful I have a job but feeling bummed I won't be able to spend time with my family.

I am sorry. This really sucks. I am also getting two days off that wk and have to work or use personal days off to take any time off.

I wish i could swap with you. I'm told i won't work for about 2 weeks over christmas and won't get paid. I have no partner or family to spend the time with so i'd really love to work if i could. Sorry you are unable to take time off.
