I Need to Vent

I wanna travel so freaking bad! Just get in the car and drive as far as possible, taking my time to enjoy the scenery and various places I drive through.
I wanna go on a cruise and experience seeing nothing but the sea all around me.
I wanna visit the most haunted locations in the world, explore abandoned places.
Be somewhere else for once.

But for the time being, I can't even afford to cross the fjord :-(

After my divorce, 18 years ago now, I bought a Toyota Camry with a sunroof, and all I took with me from the marriage fit in that car.

For almost 11months, I drove solo around the US.

It was an experience like none other. If anybody ever asks you who “discovered” America, tell them it was me.(I know it didn't need discovered, it was already inhabited.)

I urge you to do it when you can - if it means peanut butter sandwiches and sleeping in the car.

Same. I'm currently having a much needed day off from work. Need to journal and sort out my thoughts. And plan a solo trip. But im scared
