A purely online friendship is different that a "real life" friendship, I think. It can still be rewarding, though. There are a few people that I've met online that I've been in touch with for years.
Same. And I've been fortunate that a few of them have crossed over and become "real life" friends. But I agree with you that they are very different and you never really truly get a complete version of a person until you get to spend time with them in the real world.
