I Am Confused About My Relationship

So Friday morning was pretty sad for me, got dumped, he also told me to stay single for one whole month, that I shouldn't bother with anyone and neither is he. I'm so confused, angry and upset with him, what does that even mean?? When he said, don't bother with anyone for one whole month? And if course he just had to be drunk while saying all of this.
