One of those silly questions coming up.

I'm in the library at my school; shoes are off despite the librarians constant prattling to keep them on. I'm just trying to get comfy; do you guys think it'd be alright to go barefoot in school? I've never done it before other than in PE.

I think it would be fine to go barefoot in school and I often did so myself and not just inside the library.

I'm a sixth form teacher and the college I work at has no issue with it

@Psychologykate Must be my college. I attend barefoot everyday.

I don't see why you couldn't go barefoot just be careful to not step on anything sharp or hurt yourself but otherwise should be ok

Go with it! Under the desk anyway! Good to see indoor p e is done in bare feet, too many schools allow or encourage trainers / sneakers....
I take mine off in the library but not to walk about in. If you cut your feet school is responsible.

Good for you, if it makes you feel comfortable. It's great that you're able to do PE in your bare feet as well.

Is bare feet for indoor p e your choice if school rule?

Sitting in the library, I don't see a problem. Going to school barefoot might be a liability issue for the school.

I always take my shoes and socks off at the library.
