@Pinocchio Why didn't The Move become successful in the US? Their last British hit had a very American sound for a British band.

@NankerPhelge well for one at the time everything was like neon colors and bright lights which the move did not have and now everything is chill fresh vibes which the move is not

@Pinocchio The Move's debut album is highly suggestive of neon colours and bright lights, like just about everything else in 1968. Even the Fire Brigade song has the lyric "The lights across the street throw a rainbow in her hair" in it.
