I Loved Being In Love
I dunno if it's the last time we'll ever talk or not. Probably. I don't think I'll be able to be just friends any time soon. And by the time I am I doubt she'll still care enough to bother with it. It's been almost a year now and it hasn't gotten any easier for me. But she asked me a question the other night and it got me thinking. "Can you ever love someone enough that you know it will never change?"
No. No you can't. You can't know that it will last forever and that your feelings won't change. But you can know that you've got nothing more you could possibly give. Because you love the person and not the things about them. You love love good, the bad, the wonderful, and the horrible.
When they ask you "why do you love me?" the only answer you could ever give is "because you're [i]you[/i]."
I dunno if that'll last forever or not. But I don't think there's anything that could have a better chance. And she's most definitely still [i]her[/i]. But it's time to move on.
