I Love the Smell of Old Books

It's for children. It's like a story between a teacher and her class, she teaches her children basic things about nature and moral values (honesty, responsability, etc.) It's quite accurate information :P

@kingkyrie, yes, I didn't acquire it, it really is my family bible come down to me through the generations. But since I also love old books, it's a prize in several senses.

Kingkyrie... Nope, have you heard of Dr. Seuss's character Horton the elephant? Well, this was his first book about Horton I believe:)

I have a family bible from around 1830. In terms of books that I've actually held in my hands and read, probably around 1900 or so.

@Starlilly, had to google it and vaguely I start to remember a bit from a far, far past in my youth :)

@portal, I use it too and even make some of the old fashioned recipes out them, very special nowadays :)
