Who's Band was it REALLY?

The second fiddles, these guys were just as big as their lead singers. Mick or Keith's Band? Paul or John?

Mick brought Keith on but Brian was the starter for the band.

I don't know the Stones and their music; but I think it's safe to say that Paul was the main composer of "that other" band, a fantastic musician, a highly talented multi-instrumentalist, and the band's workhorse. Without him, the band and the music simply would not exist.

Well actually the Stones originally was Brian's band.

Paul was and is pretty great, I have listened to his Flaming Pie album a lot. But John was something special, probably one of the people to come closest to matching the unique genius of Bob Dylan.

I always thought Paul and John were pretty equal. They co-wrote a lot of the Beatles’ songs, and both had strong followings after the group split.

@bijouxbroussard whilst they were both credited from earlier on they wrote independently they just shared the royalties. This was once common. Supertramp had similar agreement between Rick Davies and Roger Hodgson but you can instantly tell who wrote which song.
