@Kwek00 But you did get it..that site is a Mad Magazine for the 21st century!
Kwek00 ยท 41-45, M
@SW-User It's pretty mad alright, not sure if it's as obvious as MAD-magazine? didn't they try to make comedy? This looks like just fake news.
SW-User
@Kwek00 Mad Magazine had a tenfold larger circulation than the ones claimed,for every copy sold ten kids read it.And it was funny!

I don't think many would believe,"Colorado couple arrested based on 1868 law making it illegal for midgets to have sex "๐Ÿ˜‚
Satire..but I imagine tedious after a few exposures
Kwek00 ยท 41-45, M
Sounds like a "Bubba Ho-Tep" scenario ๐Ÿ˜…

@Kwek00 Yeah sometimes the admirers of a movie spam the comments.But overall not a bad place to start

@SW-User Annyway, if we want to know, we should watch it. IT has some actors I like, and it's a horror-comedy. And it has loads of Elvis, who can be against that. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

@Kwek00 Not on the Tube but it is on Tubi tv;youtube removes a LOT of flicks!

"Where facts donโ€™t matterโ€

The problem with finding a โ€œlook-alikeโ€ would be that he would also need to be left-handed, play multiple instruments and be a talented songwriter....the odds against that would have been astronomical. It was a brilliant publicity stunt, carried across a couple of albums.
SW-User
@DragonFruit I don't think the Beatles needed the publicity,it wa a guy writing a "thesis" and a Detroit DJ who did this..Lennon called the latter really pissed at the whole thing
MrBrownstone ยท 46-50, M
Told everyone so.
SW-User
@MrBrownstone I don't believe Sir Ringo actually said that๐Ÿ˜…!
MrBrownstone ยท 46-50, M
@SW-User There is an interview of John and George talking about โ€œPaulโ€ joining the band. One problem,paul was a founding member.
SW-User
But why tho ๐Ÿค” for what purpose
SW-User
@SW-User Thee rumor in thee sixties was The Beatles was Paul died in a car crash and the Beatles didn't want to 'let their fans down so they replaced him with a look alike named Billy Shears๐Ÿ˜
People actually debated about this
SW-User
@Stilltryinghard Oh..what made you suspicious/

@Bootsiebaby Chapman's planning has been described as "muddled."[15] Over the years, Chapman has both supported and denied whether he felt justified by his spiritual beliefs at the time or had the intention of acquiring notoriety.[3] The only time he made a public statement before his sentencing โ€” and for several years afterward โ€” was during a brief psychotic episode in which he was convinced that the meaning of his actions was to promote The Catcher in the Rye, which amounted to a single letter mailed to the New York Times asking the public to read the novel.[3] According to Chapman, he had an alternate hit list of potential targets in mind, including Beatles bandmate Paul McCartney, talk show host Johnny Carson, actress Elizabeth Taylor, actor George C. Scott, former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, just-elected US president Ronald Reagan, and Hawaii governor George Ariyoshi. In 2010, he said that the only criterion for the list was being "famous", and that he chose Lennon out of convenience.[16] Journalist James R. Gaines, who interviewed Chapman extensively, concluded that Chapman did not kill Lennon to become a celebrity.[3]-WChapman's planning has been described as "muddled."[15] Over the years, Chapman has both supported and denied whether he felt justified by his spiritual beliefs at the time or had the intention of acquiring notoriety.[3] The only time he made a public statement before his sentencing โ€” and for several years afterward โ€” was during a brief psychotic episode in which he was convinced that the meaning of his actions was to promote The Catcher in the Rye, which amounted to a single letter mailed to the New York Times asking the public to read the novel.[3] According to Chapman, he had an alternate hit list of potential targets in mind, including Beatles bandmate Paul McCartney, talk show host Johnny Carson, actress Elizabeth Taylor, actor George C. He also had Todd Rungren and Bowie on the list
