Would you say a record is a top ten hit if it peaks at number 13 in the charts?

And if the next single by the same singer gets to number 5, would you say his second hit is "another top ten hit" after his first one stopped at 13? I personally wouldn't, but one of the music papers did.

Well, unlike the music paper your referenced, I can count. 1-10 is a top ten. 11+, close, but no cigar.

How can a record that peaks at 13 be a top 10 hit 🙄

It's simply an alternative fact?

Hype sells, and so does an outright lie

@NosmoKing So funny you mention Joe. I know and have worked with members of his band, and my band does a Joe Jackson tribute in which we play all of Look Sharp.
