Here is one that I love ,,
He was doing like me ,hanging at a club and a buddy always asks you to get up and play ,not your guitar or effects peddles ,,but it goes off with out a hitch like we practiced

@Bootsiebaby you are way to hung up on spelling
I have been a preforming musician since I was 10
I preformed for the MD foundation before the nation when I was 12 ,,I was a concert musician ,,Packed out sold out shows for years ,,I may not know how to spell it but I damn sure know how to use them and what they are and how to get the desired effect from them ,,,god can I say anything right ?
I don't need to Google crap ,,if I walk into a music store or pawn shop and ask how much is that chorus /flanger /over drive /Digital delay / Wha Wha ,what ever ,peddle ,,they know exactly what I mean

@Bootsiebaby I have explained to you on more then one occasion ,I quit school to work in the 9th grade
I needed glasses and no one would buy me any ,so since I was always in the back of the class or put in the hall
I got very little formal education ,
But I was still smart enough to pass an entrance exam to get into the hardest service there is to get into with an IQ of 145 ,,I was a lead machinist /diesel mechanic for a major railroad by 21 ,building mansions for stars and rock stars by 26 ,all the while also a touring musician
I did look it up ,its spelled "Pedal " so I added a extra D
I am told all the time what I do here is fine ,the length of my posts ,the content ,the bits of myself I share
I am also from the south ,,I don't say sup for a sip ,or yans side for over there ,fer piece for its some distance but I am a hick ,,straight up country boy with no education .often very tired from lack of sleep and in to much pain to think straight ,,I am here to get my mind off of it
Drive me crazy for days over your ,,verses You're
most people get what I mean ..you are the only one I try to respect who dogs me so much ,,most people I find I have a problem with I block them so I don't keep offending them
But I don't think I have done anything wrong ,,anyone with any compassion and common sense would figure it out and go on ,
If I bother you that much block me ,,I assure you I am not trying to
I did finally get what you meant with the you're and I have tried not to make the same mistake
But being literate is not required here
I work hard on not making such long posts ,I try to avoid to many religious debates even though I love God ,
I avoid politics ,to many name callers to even have a mature conversation anymore
But all I can say is I try ,,I am her to not think about pain ,,not get pissed off and make it worse ,,especially over a "d"
All I can say is put a guitar in my hand and a mic and I show you what it never held me back ,,I was a star

@Bootsiebaby I know his first hit that got radio play were people knew who he was, was Breezin ,it went triple Platinum But the first hit that got people really buzzing about him that the "Common Folk " heard on FM was Broadway
That song was played non stop
I don't know how old you are ,but I do think you mentioned it before
But we had not had even colored TV very long
a lot of people were still listing to AM radio
I got my love for soul music and jazz from a juke box in a coffee shop ,,,and one 45 that got a lot of play was Broadway
And when it comes to grammar ,you have to excuse my ignorance ,,I am a musician ,not a writer
and even that I play by ear ,I can read a little music
but I hear and feel it ,and just play
Thats the only place I am really good at expressing myself .
I don't even like talking to the fans ,cause I am always afraid I will say something stupid ,,,

we had not even had TV long when I was a boy
Hardly anyone had an FM radio
And a lot changed in 10 yrs ,,since the net and cell phones
now its a totally different world
All the men where I come from quit school in the 9th grade to work ,,you did not need a college degree to commercial fish ,,The only things that saved me was I was smart enough to pass a naval battery test to get into the service ,,and my music ,,it has opened a lot of doors for me that would have never opened otherwise
But I was always afraid of showing I was not as educated as some who were not near as successful as I was ,but the knew how to talk and write pretty ,and some how that made them feel somehow like they were still better then me
So I was the best at what I knew how to do ,
build things and play music ,,,I hired managers to talk and write letters for me
