What is your worst misheard lyric?

A friend of mine (a full blood Choctaw) got seriously offended by Green Day's song "Good Ridance".

He thought the line was actually, "It's something unpredictable, an INDIAN that's right..."

There's an old country song called "I Was Country When Country Wasn't Cool," which as as a lyric, "I'm just glad we're in a country where we're all free to choose." A friend of mine, hearing the song for the first time, got a shocked look on her face and asked, "Did she just say 'we're afraid of Jews?'"

Bon Jovi's Livin' on a prayer:

"We've got to hold on to what we've got, it doesn't make a difference if we're naked or not."

I didn't think that but a friend once said it and it was funny as hell because it actually worked too.

There is song on the airwaves at the moment which I was horrifed to hear said "with my d$ck in the air" ...when I listened for the 4th or so time I heard it was actually "with MAGIC in the air" 🤦‍♀️

I've been hearing almost every line of psychosocial by Slipknot wrong for years but I can't remember exactly what 😂
