Am I the only one aorund here who thinks Grunge Music needs a comeback?

My melancholy is infinite and hungry.

Where did it go? Kids today always thinking things went away...
MessieNessie · 36-40, F
@Sarin that's not even what I'm talking about. I'm talking about some of us that still listen to it. I don't listen to your crazy new age bands. As long as you still listen to it it never goes away.

@MessieNessie You insult me! Of course i carry it all very close to my heart. Grunge runs through these very veins! *flips table*
DDonde · 31-35, M
@MessieNessie He means there's very little new Grunge stuff being made.

I do!!! Kurt Cobain lives.

I love grunge, but I don't want to see bands deliberately try to imitate grunge, because the imitation is usually shallow. But I'd love to hear new bands that capture the raw energy that the old grunge bands had.

@Sarin I like "Life in a Jar", but I don't really think they sound like Soundgarden. They have much more of a post-grunge alt rock influence, IMO.

Check out Leach by SuperHeaven. Definitely get some vibes from that one.

@DDonde I said they would come clsoe to capturing the grunge sound, SoundGarden is a whole nother monster.
