Regarding XXXTentacion's death

I'm definitely conflicted as to how I personally feel. I mean, I feel bad, but it's not like somebody ripped my heart out or anything.

While I couldn't call myself a fan of the dude's music by any means, I have to admit that he was a talented guy and I'm glad his talent was rewarded with such an incredible amount of success. HOWEVER...from the stories of all the violent crimes he committed (which include assault and robbery among other things), it's obvious that he lacked a general concern for the feelings of others, which very likely stemmed from some mental issues that he could have sought professional help for at any time (that's what therapists are for).

In a nutshell, he was a violent man who lived a violent life. There's always a price to pay for that. At the same time, I always hoped he would eventually clean up his act and I never once wished him dead. No one deserves what happened to him, especially not at the terribly young age of 20 years old.

As unlikely as it seems, I only hope the guy made it to heaven. Whoever did kill him needs to understand that by doing so, he has not done the human race a favor. I know he had issues, but where there's one person like XXXTentacion, there's always four or five more. This is why justice is better left in the hands of God.

Rest easy, Jahseh Onfroy.

Felt the same way with Chesters music when he passed.

@ScarletWitch That Chester was also a violent man or that you were just never much of a Linkin Park fan?
If you’re 20 years and came from a gutter of shit and basically made millions overnight, it’s understandable to do lots of dumb shit. He obviously had an influence on many and even though I wasn’t the biggest fan of his style I wish I could’ve seen him grow more mature as well as his music. We’re pretty much the same age after all.

@Insomniac100 Fair enough. I didn't see anything on his Wikipedia page saying that, but if he truly did grow up in a hostile environment, then that would explain where all his hostility came from.
@SubZeroSlays808 I read an interview a few years ago where it said he didnt have a family except for his mother who didn’t put enough effort in raising him. He was put in random people’s houses his whole life and got into fights at school just so he could see his mom in the principals office.

@Insomniac100 Damn...it's no wonder the kid was messed up. I hope in his death, he finally found the escape of redemption and rest from the inner conflict that haunted him his whole life.
Did he give himself that name?....

That's life

@TheCaliforniaKid It's called "This Is My God". You would think from the title it was some kind of Christian praise and worship song, but it's actually a really cool, melodic heavy metal tune from Steve Harris' (of Iron Maiden) first (and so far only) solo album "British Lion".
