Sad what hype you remember from the time and it just doesn't stand the test of time.

He never impressed me, when that album came out, all my friends were like.. holy shit! Frampton is great...
the voice tube was his big claim to fame..
I saw him in concert... nothing to write home about...

@DuchessOfMapleSyrup Oh it was big at the time i remember. I mean the man can play there's no doubt in that ! But....'A bit bland' ?........Does it a kindness i think.

@DuchessOfMapleSyrup Think i was only 11 at the time. So just getting into music really. I remember the hype and the ads with the concert footage etc. And those a bit older than me really into 'Do you feel' and all that.

Occasionally i revisit old music from my youth and give it a bit of an airing. Think i should have just left this one where it was to be honest !
