Has anyone noticed that popular western music has adopted traditional persian beats?

Can you give me an example? I'd like to hear.
@SW-User some of cold plays stuff for example

@Mandalorian I don't know anything about Persian music, though, so I don't know what I'm looking for, but saw on the Wikipedia page
The most common time signatures associated with the tombak are 6/8, 2/4, 4/4, 5/8, 7/8, and 16/8 times.
All of which would potentially work well in Western pop music (except maybe 7/8 but even that), so I wouldn't be surprised.
